WHAT IS A VIRTUAL 5K?

A virtual 5k means you run / walk / hike 3.1 miles at your leisure anytime between 9/1/20 to 9/26/20. Once completed, you will receive your finisher medal and shirt either via USPS after 9/26/20, or you can pick them up on 9/26/20 at Ascot Hills Park between 9am and 1pm (please bring your email registration confirmation).

DO I HAVE TO COMPLETE THE 5K AT ASCOT HILLS PARK?

You can complete the 3.1 miles anywhere but you are more than welcome and encouraged to do so on the regular 5k course at Ascot Hills Park. Physical distancing and masks are currently required at the park.

HOW DO YOU KNOW THAT I COMPLETED THE 3.1 MILES?

Upon registration, you'll receive an email confirmation with the link to upload your results. Please upload your time/mileage before midnight on September 26, 2020.

IS THE VIRTUAL 5K TIMED AND WILL THERE BE AWARDS FOR TOP FINISHERS AND AGE DIVISIONS?

We want you to challenge yourself and run as fast as you can, but there will be no top finisher or divisional awards this year.

WHAT IS INCLUDED WITH MY REGISTRATION FEE?

In addition to contributing to AHC’s beneficiary (Wilson High School’s LAFD Magnet Academy Program), your $30 registration fee includes a Special Edition Ascot Hills Challenge 5k t-shirt and finisher medal.
